The historic San Antonio Riverwalk intersects Houston Street in a couple of places. The street level cement railings have “cutout” designs in different shapes that cast interesting shadows. I’d noticed the patterns many times before but it didn’t make a good picture. When I went up the stairs behind this guy and saw the Lone Star and the cowboy boots I shot it. It’s a Texas thing I guess.
